Tyler Perry fans are calling the film maker a sell-out after the Madea-maker cast Kim Kardashian as a leading lady in his latest movie “The Marriage Counselor.” Now, many former devoted Perry followers are threatening to boycott the film.
Here’s what Tyler Perry had to say:
“The Marriage Counselor stars Jurnee Smollett and Kim Kardashian as her assistant. I’m not getting rid of Kim”
I want to know why it’s taken Tyler Perry’s fans so long to form a boycott against the filmmaker. Know why? Because it’s clear that his movies are filled with negative stereotypes mane. It’s obvious that Perry doesn’t care that his movies set black people back, he only cares about making money.
Casting Kim Kardashian proves just that. He obviously made that move so his film would crossover to the mainstream.
