Severed HANDS Found Near Brad And Angelina’s Home – Day After Severed Head Found In Hollywood

Just one day after the gruesome discovery of a human head in a plastic bag beneath the Hollywood sign, police have found two severed hands believed to possibly have belonged to the same man.

The body parts were found a few blocks away from a home owned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the Hollywood Hills.

Coincidentally, a head was found in a box at the end of one of Mr. Pitt’s most popular films, ‘Seven.’

There is absolutely no suggestion the grim finds had anything to do with the superstar couple.

About 30 detectives were at the scene Wednesday searching the trails below the famous sign and asking questions door-to-door to see if anybody noticed anything suspicious.

‘We’re hoping we can find more remains,’ said Los Angeles Police Department Commander Andrew Smith to the Los Angeles Times.

The head was found at 2:30pm on Tuesday in Bronson Canyon Park by a couple walking nine dogs.

‘One of the dogs ran into the brush and came out carrying a plastic grocery bag. As the dogs shook the plastic grocery bag the severed human head fell out of the bag and onto the ground,’ Mr Smith told KCBS-TV.

Bronson Canyon Park in Griffith Park, is also where the second hand was found later in the day on Wednesday.

A specially trained cadaver dog from the Los Angeles Coroner’s office dug up the hand earlier in the morning in brush land about 50 yards from where the head was located.

Police believe the killing probably happened somewhere else and the murderer dumped the body.

The victim was thought to be an Armenian man in his 40s with salt-and-pepper hair.

All of the remains are believed to have come from the same man who wasn’t identified while police still work for confirmation through testing.

Police were checking reports of missing persons and coroner’s investigators will check dental records.

The park is home to numerous coyotes and other wild animals police say they are aware may have taken any other possibly parts left.

The authorities are hoping to identify the body parts using dental records and fingerprints. The body was not thought to have been left in the area for long.

The search will continue Thursday.

The Hollywood sign on Mount Lee above Los Angeles originally read ‘Hollywoodland’ and was created to promote a housing development in 1923.

The last few letters deteriorated in the late 1940s and the part that remained was restored in 1978.
