On November 19th boxing legend Muhammad Ali fell unconscious at his wife Yolanda’s home in Paradise Valley, Arizona and the 69 year old sport icon was rushed to the Scottsdale Healthcare Oborn Medical Center.
I’m happy to report that the champ has recovered and he spent his Thanksgiving with family and friends in Las Vegas Nevada. Don’t believe me? Ask Muhammad Ali’s daughter Laila Ali.
Here’s what a close family friend had to say:
“He has many medical specialists in Phoenix in his life – some that are renowned doctors in Parkinson’s and other fields that have even become close friends with him and the family. So for the family to call 911 for help — they must have really been scared.”
Radaronline reported that Ali’s family and friends now fear he could only have a few months to live.
Here’s what Laila Ali had to say:
“He has good and bad days. It’s a progressive disease and it’s something we both have to deal with. But he still gets out and he loves people. He has a lot of grandkids and he adores them.”
Muhammad Ali is a great American legend and I think we should have some streets and landmarks in the Urban community named after him. Don’t you agree?
