House Negro’s For 2011 are…
Sean Carter & Kanye West
With the end of the year just a few weeks away, it’s time for HSK’s 4th Annual Top 10 House Negroes of 2011. We left it up to you to pick nominees of this year’s sell-outs.
The people have spoken, choosing Jay Z for the number 6 spot and his sidekick Kanye West at number 5 spot.
Shawn Jay Z Carter is doing business with the Barclay’s British Bank and guess what–The Barclay’s bank profited from and supported the African Slave Trade and apartheid of South Africa and continue to profit from these gains, through a conspiracy dating back hundreds of years and continue to date to oppress black people. Don’t believe me.. Ask black activist Clive Campbell!
Jay was is the token paid House Negro for the Barclay’s bank and their $4 billion investment, which would include a basketball arena for the Nets, more than 6,000 apartments, middle-income housing, commercial offices, retail establishments and a boutique hotel- all located downtown Brooklyn.
Here’s what Chuck D had to say about Jay Z aka Buckwheat:
“I hope that speaking up against “The Throne” (Jay-Z and Kanye’s latest exercise in self-absorption)
is the first of many steps toward giving our community the vision that it needs to create a better life.
It’s not cool for West and Jay-Z to brag about how much money they waste when African Americans
are in the middle of one of the most devastating periods in economic history. Over 20 percent unemployment and the near complete decimation of black wealth.
Rapping about private jets and half-million dollar cars is preferable to discussing our collective plight. In fact, I’ll never forget when the artist Diddy gave his 16-year old son a half-million dollar car, and then turned around and gave a mere $10,000 to the entire country of Haiti.”
Here’s what Chuck D had to say about Kanye West aka Stymie:
“I met another (nameless) artist who works with West on a regular basis. I asked him if Kanye is in tune with the social issues that plague the black community. To my disappointment, the artist simply said, “Kanye’s on some other ///
I would hate to believe that the man who had the courage to speak up on behalf of the victims of Hurricane Katrina has turned himself into just another highly talented corporate monkey.”
Are Jay Z and Kanye West good House Negroes? I think so, and many other black folks from the streets feel the same way. Don’t believe me.. Ask Fred Hampton Jr!
Stay tuned for your number four and three picks for 2011 Top House Negroes Countdown. Your picks will be posted daily up until Friday.
