drk knight extra dies
Warner Bros. and the Screen Actor's Guild have confirmed that an extra died while rehearsing on the set of 'The Dark Knight Rises' back in November. Rumors first began popping up last month, while the film was shooting in New York City. According to the New York Post, the unidentified male extra died from a heart attack during rehearsals. "[The man] was taken immediately to the hospital," a source told the NY Post. "It was during a period when the film was shooting a huge sequence with several hundred extras in the Wall Street area. But the male extra had been rehearsing in another location away from the set. While on a break, he'd walked away and died of natural causes."
'The Dark Knight Rises,' which stars Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy, is currently set for a July 20, 2012 release date. There will be a six-minute prologue attached to IMAX screenings of 'Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol,' when it opens next week
