WAS ELVIS MURDERED BY THE MOB?

Actress Suzanne Leigh co-starred with Elvis Presley in the film "Paradise Halloween Style." It was the beginning of a deep friendship.

Now, 33 years after his death, the blonde actress has come forward with a chilling theory-the Mafia killed Elvis Presley.

In her soon to be published autobiography, Leigh describes how her misgivings began the day Elvis died.

She says: "There was a picture of a woman, who was close to Elvis, standing in the doorway at Graceland in the middle of the night, just hours after his death," Leigh recalls.

"She looked immaculate, her makeup perfect. If the love of my life had just been found dead, I would have looked like the Witch of Endor, mascara streaming down my face."

Her first lead came from Dick Grob, a former cop and head of security of Graceland, who told her that Elvis had been the innocent victim in a Mafia fraud case involving billions of dollars.

The feds were supposed to be protecting Elvis when he died of an alleged drug overdose on August 16, 1977, the day he and his father Vernon were to appear before a grand jury.

Only a day after the death, Col. Tom Parker persuaded the singer's father to sign over to him 50 percent of the King's posthumous earnings," Leigh says.

But Dick Grob is convinced the murder was organized by the Mob to prevent Elvis from testifying. He also believes someone inside Graceland let the killer into the house.

Suzanne Leigh suspected she was on the right track because odd things started happening to me, Leigh says.

A tire came flying off my car, nearly causing a fatal accident. While I was walking my dog one night, a young girl fired a handgun at me from a passing car.

Leigh now lives in a undisclosed location.
