STEGER, Ill. - Prosecutors are saying a man charged with attempting to have his adopted daughter killed is facing another predatory sexual assault charge from yet another underage girl.

CBS-station WBBM says that prosecutors began investigating Robert Deja in July after learning of allegations that he had been sexually abusing his adopted daughter for four years.

Law enforcement officials then learned she has a 3-year-old daughter fathered by Deja.

Police say Deja became angry when he found out that the now 20-year-old adopted daughter had a new boyfriend, so he kicked her out of the house, and tried to hire his brother as a hit man to kill her and her boyfriend. On October 12, Deja was arrested and held on $7 million bail.
The Chicago Tribune reported that Robert J. Deja, 45, was back in court on Tuesday on yet another sexual assault charge, which Cook County state's attorney spokesman Andy Conklin says carries a $5 million bail.

Meanwhile, Steger Police Chief Richard Stultz said police are looking at the possibility that Deja may have victimized others. He also warned that this most recent case may not be the end of the charges brought against him.
