Ol’ Dirty Bastard aka Russell Tyrone Jones died on November 13, 2004 – and guess what? Today, November 13, 2011 Dirty’s sister Dionne Jones passed away after suffering with pancreatic cancer.
Here’s what a friend of the family told me:
“Dirty’s sister just died from pancreatic cancer. I’m still in shock. I can’t believe Dionne died on Nov 13th, it’s the same day Dirty died.
I guess it’s hard to get a ambulance in Brooklyn cuz a EMS truck hasn’t picked her up yet.”
I’m saddened to deliver this news to the world on the seven year anniversary since the passing of Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
