All that glitters is not gold.

Allegedly, an account was set up so fans can donate money to Heavy D's daughter. After Nate Dogg died, an account was set up for donations as well.

No one expects to die young, yet, celebrities should consider taking out life insurance policies to provide for their families in case the unexpectant happens.

People are surprised that Heavy D's family is asking for donations, suggesting, his finances were not in order.

Think back to TLC, one of their albums sold 22 million copies worldwide (at $14 a pop) yet each member struggled financially.

David Ruffin's family didn't have enough money to bury him. Michael Jackson picked up the tab. Eddie Murphy paid for Redd Foxx's funeral and a popular female group could not afford to bury their sister until a generous fan donated the money.

All that glitters is not gold.
