T he brother of the R&B singer Usher, James Lackey was arrested at his home when police were called following reports of a disturbance. When they arrived at the house, the police found that there was enough evidence to arrest and charge James with domestic violence, cruelty to children and reckless conduct. Sources claim that James had beaten up his girlfriend and also put hands on their baby. James spent a total of two days in jail before he was released on bail of $5,500. There has been no comment from James or any other members of his family in relation to the situation.
James also known as J Lack entered the music industry a few years ago as a producer signed to EMI Publishing. His production credits include Lloyd’s “Get It Shawty,” “One Chance,” and “Do It,” as well as a few tracks on Usher’s “Here I Stand” album.
