Labour frontbencher Jack Dromey was left red-faced after it emerged he added a Twitter link to a gay porn website to his list of ‘favourites’.
The shadow policing minister - who is married to Labour deputy leader, Harriet Harman - linked to a tweet about well-endowed black men.
The link showed a picture of two men engaged in a sex act.

This was the second occasion on which Mr Dromey’s finger had strayed on Twitter. Back in September, Mr Dromey also favourited a link to a Tweet on a similar theme.

At the time, the then shadow housing minister dismissed it as a mistake as he and Mrs Harman had been exploring romantic breaks in Paris.
According to the Guido Fawkes political gossip website, Mr Dromey said he had accidentally stumbled on the gay porn website - which featured a character called ‘Paris’.
Inside Housing covered the story in a diary item, saying: ‘Shadow housing minister Jack Dromey is the latest victim of this murky world after favouriting a tweet that featured a very different type of outstanding member to that normally found in the parliament

Back in September, Mr Dromey also favourited a link to a Tweet on a similar theme

It is surprisingly easy for Twitter users to publicise embarrassing searches to all their followers by typing key words into the ‘Tweet’ box rather than the search engine.

But the revelation could cause tension with his staunchly feminist wife, Mrs Harman, who has called for the Sun newspaper to stop its ‘sexist’ pictures of topless women on page three.
The story was retweeted numerous times after being posted by Guido Fawkes yesterday.
A Labour source said: ‘This is a technological mix-up and we’re sure Jack will be taking Twitter lessons to work out the difference between block and favourite as soon as possible.’
The Mail understands that no one else has access to Mr Dromey’s account so the tweet cannot be blamed on a junior staff member.
‘It’s all very embarrassing. He is aware of it. It’s more mix up than conspiracy,’ one insider said.
Mr Dromey, a 65 year-old former trade union boss, was elected as the MP for Birmingham Erdington in 2010.
His selection was controversial as the usual all-woman shortlist championed by his wife, was bypassed.
Meanwhile it also emerged that David Cameron’s official twitter account followed an escort agency.
The @Number10gov account was following the @carltonslondon, which described itself as an ‘elite London escort agency’.
Downing Street blamed the gaffe on the ‘auto-follow’ facility which has been on the account since Gordon Brown was prime minister.
A spokesman said: ‘We have stopped following this particular account. Prior to 2010, an auto-follow process was used, meaning that @Number10gov automatically followed anyone who followed the account.
‘This was common practice at the time for many corporate accounts, but was discontinued in 2009.
‘As a result of this legacy, the @Number10gov account follows almost 370,000 accounts and we have taken steps to un-follow as many as possible that are inactive, spam or inappropriate.
‘This work is ongoing.’
Originally, Twitter users had pointed out that perhaps Mr Cameron had mistaken the escort agency for the Carlton Club, an exclusive private members’ club in London.
Official records showed that more than 300,000 attempts were made to access pornographic website in the Houses of Parliament last year.

Schoolboy, 13, spent years raping little girl aged younger than 8 after watching internet pornography

A neglected 13-year-old boy who raped a young girl for two years avoided a jail sentence when a court heard of his own troubled background (file picture)

A ten-year-old boy repeatedly raped and sexually abused a seven-year-old girl over two years after becoming addicted to hardcore pornography, a court has heard.
The schoolboy would sit at his home computer for hours scouring the internet for extreme porn, the court was told.
After looking at the vile images he would play out his sexual fantasies on the young girl – which later developed into attempted rape and rape.
The court heard how he committed sex acts on the girl between the age of ten and 12 when she was aged only seven and eight.
Yesterday the boy, now 13, escaped a custodial sentence after a judge heard how he had been physically and emotionally abused as a young child.
The court was told the boy was brought up in a home that lacked any ‘sexual boundaries’ and may well have witnessed his mother having sex.
His mother was also aware that he was spending hours a day looking at  indecent images on the internet but did nothing to stop it, the court heard.
The case comes just days after calls for more restrictions to online pornography following Google and Microsoft’s announcement they would block internet search results linked to images of child abuse.
The Daily Mail’s fight to force the web industry to clean up the internet through its Block Online Porn campaign has led to concerted pressure on service providers, such as BT and TalkTalk.
Now all 20million families in the UK who have an internet connection will be forced to say whether they want access to online pornography. Hundreds of thousands are already signing up to have it blocked.
Mold Crown Court was told the schoolboy began accessing hardcore images on a computer from the age of nine. Referring to the victim, Judge Niclas Parry told the boy: ‘In fact what you were doing was using her to play out fantasies that you had been watching on the internet, images of extreme pornography.’
Judge Parry said the boy had suffered an appalling early childhood and had been subjected to physical and emotional abuse.

 

He said the boy’s mother chose to ‘ignore that you were accessing for hours a day images of a pornographic nature on the internet’.
The court was told there was clear evidence of very poor parenting on behalf of his mother, which bordered on deliberate neglect.

Reports showed this neglect had gone on for around seven years, during which time he had also been abused by his mother’s partner.
And the court heard that the boy’s home environment lacked any barriers to the adult world.
The judge said: ‘You may have witnessed your mother and her partner engaged in sexual activity. You were brought up in a home that lacked any sexual boundaries.’
The court heard the boy, who sat in court with social workers and employees of a children’s development centre where he is now living, was left without support or guidance.
Elen Owen, defending, described the case as ‘extremely sad’. Reports suggested the assaults and rapes were a way of satisfying the boy’s emotional needs rather than for sexual gratification alone.  Judge Parry said the boy could have been detained in custody because the crimes were so serious but said he wanted him to be rehabilitated rather than harmed further.
The boy, who admitted committing rape, attempted rape and sexual assault, was placed on a three-year youth rehabilitation order with supervision, as well as a residency order so that he remains at the specialist centre where he is living.
The teenager, from Llandudno, North Wales, was also ordered to register with the police as a sex offender. The court heard he was seeking therapy to overcome his addiction.
The judge said work to counsel the young girl, who is also in care, was under way but that it may take years for her to understand that what happened to her was not normal.
Over the next few months all existing internet users will be contacted by their service providers asking whether they want access to online pornography.
New customers who set up a broadband account or switch providers will have the filters automatically selected, while customers who do not accept or decline will have them activated by default.
The filters will apply to all devices linked to a home wi-fi network and across any public network, such as those that can be accessed from shops, where children are likely to be present. Only adults will be able to change the settings.

No surprise here! Recent revelations by a few former employees of Barneys New York detail the “common” racial-profiling committed against African American shoppers at the Big-Apple based retail store.

Here’s what former BNY staff members told The Huffington Post:

“Their card is probably not going to go through,” they’d say. “I don’t know why they come in here and want to try stuff on that they know they’re not going to buy.”

If a black person comes in with a sweatshirt or sneakers, some of the white sales associates would be on the floor saying: ‘Why are they even here? They’re probably going to scam,’” said the former associate, who is black and worked at the store in 2012 and 2013. “They would say this stuff in front of me. Sometimes I would just walk away, and sometimes I would say, ‘You never know.’”

“If you’re black and come in with an entourage, you won’t be followed because they’ll be like ‘Oh, that’s somebody famous,’” the employee said. “But if you come in by yourself or with one other person, then you’re going to be followed.”

Gates Foundation Pushing Dangerous Contraceptives on Black Populations Written by William F. Jasper

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is taking fire from leaders of Black organizations and human rights advocates for funding and promoting a new form of the controversial contraceptive Depo Provera, particularly aimed at women in Africa and developing countries. Melinda Gates, wife of Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, recently told the New York Times that she is championing wide distribution of the drug as a result of talking to poor women around the world. But Kwame Fosu, policy director for the Rebecca Project for Human Rights, says Mrs. Gates’ claims are “disingenuous” because the women she claims to be helping are not being informed about the dangers involved.

“No African woman would agree to being injected if she had full knowledge of the contraceptives’ dangerous side effects,” Kwame Fosu told C-FAM, the Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute. “In fact,” claimed Fosu, “in countries where women are educated on the harmful complications, Depo Provera use is negligible.”

“Depo Provera (made by the Pfizer Corporation), the most deadly contraceptive (according to the FDA), is being marketed with malice and forethought at our precious women and girls of African descent world wide,” said Dr. Randy Short, a spokesman for the Washington, D.C.-based Rebecca Project for Human Rights, in a scathing statement earlier this year exposing the Gates-Depo Provera scheme. “Many nations have outlawed it, but it continues to be used in the USA, the Caribbean, Oceania, Latin America, and Africa,” Dr. Short noted. “The use of Depo Provera,” according to Short, “contributes to and in several cases causes life threatening diseases and medical problems: cervical cancer, breast cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, stroke, heart attack, sterility, miscarriages, HIV/AIDS, Chlamydia, and other STIs/STDs.”

Dr. Short said further: 

In the USA, 84% of the Depo Provera is used by Black women. Wherever there are high rates of HIV/AIDS in Africa, the use of Depo Provera is universal. As recently as 2010, human experimentation on African women was done illegally with Depo Provera in Ghana. The USAID sends more Depo Provera to Africa than any other drug, and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation recently raised $2.6 billion dollars to buy Depo Provera to be able to "give" it to 100 million African women. 

Dr. Short notes that “the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation got into trouble in Niger with some vaccination project being done on 180,000 African women.” “The Gates know that the drug is deadly,” says Short. “Mr. Gates' father was an ardent eugenicist.”

An extensive new report by the Rebecca Project entitled "Depo-Provera: Deadly Reproductive Violence Against Women" provides a devastating critique of the unethical and criminal activities of organizations promoting the Depo Provera assault on the world’s poor. Among the many important revelations in the report is the dirty secret of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer’s ties to powerful “intermediaries.”

“Since it is illegal for Pfizer to promote off-label claims,” notes the report, “it utilizes intermediaries to evade US law who consequently become liable for the fraudulent promotion, marketing and administering of Depo Provera to women.”

According to the Rebecca Project report, the U.S. Department of Justice should charge Pfizer and its principal institutional intermediaries with fraud for the following and other reasons: 

Pfizer with ... Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, Population Council, Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Planned Parenthood, Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins’ Bloomberg School of Public Health, are engaged in a pattern of fraudulent and illegal promotion schemes with other agents and contractors, to deceive and defraud patients, US taxpayers, ethical physicians, ethical birth control providers, regulators/FDA, insurance companies, federal and state health programs, to cause prescribing and payments for Depo Provera. 

The report also states: 

The United States has created a normative population control worldview directed through a surreptitious patchwork of policies promulgated by organizations whose ideological formation and funding eugenicists have provided. At the top tier of population control policy are organizations created by pioneers and patrons of the eugenics movement: Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), Population Council, UNFPA (The United Nations Fund for Population Activities), and their patrons: the Ford Foundation, (Margaret Hempel), the Rockefeller Foundation, (Judith Rodin) and USAID. The newcomers to this elite group of eugenicist policymakers are Bill and Melinda Gates, welcomed with their foray into promoting the injectable contraceptive Depo Provera while concealing life-threatening harm.

New Xbox Can See Through Your Clothes Like TSA Scanners

If the successes of its past game console launches are any indicator, sales of Microsoft’s latest effort – set to hit the market November 22 – can be expected to be strong. However, this console, which seeks to be your living room’s all-in-one home entertainment unit, is immensely different from the rest.

In line with the pervading surveillance culture, where microphones and cameras embedded within tablets, cell phones, laptops, light posts, vehicles and other devices watch and listen intently, Microsoft is making sure to load its gaming device with the latest spy tech goodies, which they claim will enhance users’ experiences.

But the most disturbing and worrisome Xbox One/Big Brother gossip is not that Xbox maker Microsoft was reportedly involved in the NSA PRISM scandal, or that the console’s Kinect peripheral sits listening with a multi-microphone array 24/7 for voice commands, or that its noise-isolation capabilities enable it to distinguish your voice among a crowd of your friends.

The most startling revelation is that the new Kinect device, to be sold in combination with the XBox One, at times has the ability to map out in high-definition the shape of genitalia, something fine and dandy for consenting adults, but which could ultimately be exploited by hackers and perverts to gain access to images of children.

The cameras aren’t exactly designed to scope out your man or womanhood; it just happens that way because the technology simply works too well, says Fast Company writer Mark Wilson.

In viewing a demo of the new Kinect from Microsoft Research, Wilson says he noticed something unmistakable that gave him cause for concern. “… I noticed, alongside the intricacies of a hoodie and jeans–and there’s no graceful way to put this–a dong.”

“The Kinect hardware/software is now so effective at deciphering the bumps and folds of clothing,” says Wilson, “that it can pinpoint a man’s package down to its pant leg, carving out the distinctive folds in our trousers that society, backed by a bit of shadowy denim, has become remarkable at ignoring.”

Although it’s as yet unknown whether the new Xbox will be snapping or storing images, past examples of government mischief teach us to err on the side of caution.

In 2010, an Orlando, Fla. federal courthouse admitted that their Brijot Gen2 millimeter wave screening device had stored “approximately 35,314 images.” On its website, Brijot confirmed their machine could store up to 40,000 images and records.

Likewise, laptops issued by a suburban Philadelphia school in 2010 were also found to be capturing “secret webcam pictures of a high school student when he was partially undressed or sleeping in his bed.” Additionally, a motion filed against the school stated that “Thousands of webcam pictures and screen shots have been taken of numerous other students in their homes…”

And just last August, a hacker spouted insults at a 2-year-old girl — through her baby monitor.

Indeed, every new technology is open to hackers, as evidenced in the case of Google Glass earlier this year. By this metric, it is no stretch to say the new Xbox will undoubtedly be compromised by hackers or perverts, and that this system needs to be investigated.

It was already widely known that the new Kinect’s sensors would be highly invasive, but this should add a whole new level of unease for parents who buy their kids all the latest, trendiest gadgets.

For instance, it was already known that the Kinect’s high-definition camera creates a model of your human skeleton and can track you moving about in your home, in addition to being able to monitor your heart rate in order to gauge your level of enjoyment.

And it was already known that the Kinect will carefully study users’ eye movements and facial expressions in order to “reward” them with meaningless “virtual rewards” like avatars, in addition to creating profiles of individuals’ likes and dislikes, allowing the Xbox One to serve up customized ads, services, or shows it thinks users might like.

The fact that Microsoft’s already had to revamp a few Xbox One features means more people are becoming concerned with privacy. It’s had to revise the requirement of a permanent Internet connection, as well as its decision torequire the Kinect, both of which were initially needed for the console to function.

As Wilson notes, allowing the new Kinect into your living room is on par with inviting one of the TSA’s millimeter wave scanners or backscatter X-ray machines into your home. But in contrast to the somewhat voluntary nature of the TSA’s prying eyes, the most unnerving thing about Kinect’s genitalia-viewing potential is that the gaming market’s target audience is primarily children and most will not know they can “opt-out.”

Nevertheless, Wilson approaches his find optimistically, saying “a small percentage of Xbox owners may ever have such an experience. This topographical view is essentially a debug mode (I believe, accessible to gamers, but far from standard), and most Kinect experiences will likely render you as a bubbly asexual cartoon or a character with stock anatomy, smoothing over everything from hoodie strings to the overzealous nipples.”

However, anxieties over Microsoft’s alleged participation in setting up backdoors for the NSA should still leave gamers and parents wary of next generation consoles’ supposed technological advancements.
